UN Conference on Biodiversity: Cameroonian Delegation Holds Side Event

The Cameroon delegation to the UN Conference on Biodiversity, COP 13, in Cancun, Mexico is showcasing country’s experiences in achieving the Aichi Target 11, 16 and 17 reached during the conference of parties in Aichi, Japan on the sustainable conservation of biodiversity.

The delegation led by the Minister of the Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development, Hele Pierre, organised a side event yesterday December 5, 2016 on; “Cameroon’s Experience in Achieving Aichi Targets 11-16 Planning and Mainstreaming Biodiversity.” An exhibition on what Cameroon’s biodiversity offers was part of side events. The Minister and his delegation have also been taking active part in panel discussions on the future of biodiversity.
