The new batch of students were warmly received and advised to work harder to maintain the standards of the school.
The Advance School of Commerce and Entrepreneurial Management on November 11, 2016, under the auspices of the Rector of the University of Yaoundé II matriculated its new batch of students and also made a grand launching ceremony which officially kicked start the academic year 2016-2017. “In the last 12 years, we have training our students on professionalism. We are intensifying the professionalisation of all courses this year. With the support of our international partners, we now offer an MBA in Accountancy tailored to American system,” said the director of academic affairs, Prof. Nzongang J.
The Rector of the University of Yaoundé II, Prof. Ibrahima Adamou urged the newly matriculated students to be disciplined, serious and attentive in order to benefit from the important training that will be given them. He also congratulated the Director General, Nyangang Robert for the success the school has recorded in just 12 years of existence. The school has graduated 377 students into the job market.
Present at the ceremony was the Representative of the Minister of Higher Education, appreciated the institution for the excellent training given the trainees of the institution, who He said they aim at meeting objectives of Vision 2035 emergence plans of the President of the Republic. He also highlighted three steps to success recommended by the minister of higher education, Jacque fame Ndongo for students of this prestigious institution to uphold.
The institution went operational in September 2004 with the Advanced School of Management, under the University of Yaoundé II with a total number of 67 students. In 12 years, we have a population of about 2000 students and 114 lecturers. “We like to maintain this number because we are very strict on professionalism,” the Director General noted.
