The challenges this year at the Cameroon Red Cross (CRC) are enormous, but the National President of the association, Cécile Léonie Akame Mfoumou has taken measures to ensure that the vision of improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable by mobilising the power of humanity is attained.
She spelled out the goals of the association last January 31, 2018 in Yaounde as she received New Year wishes from her collaborators, national and international partners of the Cameroon Red Cross.

Without a strategic plan, she added, the goals of Cameroon Red Cross cannot be achieved. Plans are also underway for the rehabilitation and equipping of the medical cabinet “Henry Dunant”, the physiotherapy training centres as well as the medical platform of all the Red Cross health centres in all the ten regions of the country.
Focus this year at the Cameroon Red Cross will also be on developing the medical ambulance service of the institution. This is to solve the problem of work space that exists in some divisions as well as improve the services of volunteers.
