Prime Minister Philemon Yang received the sealed message on July 24, 2017 for onward transmission.
The Minister of State at the Presidency of Equatorial Guinea in charge of Regional Integration, Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o on July 24, 2017 handed President Teodoro Obiang Nguema’s sealed message destined to the President of Cameroon Paul Biya to Prime Minister, Head of Government Philemon Yang for onward transmission.
The special envoy of President Obiang Nguema said the President sent him accompanied by the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Cameroon, Anastasio Asumu Mum Munoz to hand to President Paul Biya the message of solidarity. The envoy Baltasar Engonga Edjo’o said Heads of State in Africa, especially those of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) do concert on issues concerning their responsibilities. Concerning relations between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, he said, they were excellent both at bilateral and multilateral levels. He said a concrete manifestation is the fact that decisions taken at the sub-regional level are implemented automatically.
