Dja and Lobo: WCPDM Prepares Conference

The first conference of the Women’s wing of the ruling Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement in Dja and Lobo IV Section will hold on October 15, 2016 in Djoum. The information is contained in a communiqué signed by the Section President, Marie Antoinette Ebene Ebene.  The conference will hold on the theme “Understanding the text of the party and the functioning of the basic organs: a guarantee to stay afloat in WCPDM Dja and Lobo IV”.

Garga Haman Grants Press Conference

The President General of the Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD), Garga Haman Adji has given his party’s opinion on current issues in the domain of education, health and commerce. He was speaking in Yaounde recently in a press conference during which he addressed the concerns on the Economic Partnership Agreement between Cameroon and European Union, the donation of computers to university students by the President of the Republic amongst others. He also announced his candidature in the next presidential elections. CT will come back to this story in details in our subsequent edition.

Mandela Washington Fellowship

NUDP Youth President Elected To West African Board

For the second time in three years, a Cameroonian has been elected to the West Africa Regional Advisory Board of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. Elvis Nukam Ndansi, the National Youth President of the National Union for Democracy and Progress, NUDP party, was notified on September 29, 2016, by IREX, the US-based body that manages the fellowship on behalf of the State Department. Ndansi was elected online by alumni from 23 West African nations
