The 89th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) will honour the best films of 2016 on February 26, 2017 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. The nominees are busy doing their last minute campaigning in hopes of taking home that Oscar gold. During the ceremony, AMPAS will present Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories amongst which are best actor, best actress, best picture, best supporting actor and best supporting actress amongst others.
